The Golf Classic, which will be hosted at beautiful Spring Meadows Golf Course in Gray, Maine, serves as one of the department’s largest fundraisers of the year as all proceeds from the event help support Saint Joseph’s Athletics. The tournament – which is open to everyone – features various contests as well as numerous prizes and a delicious buffet banquet. Those who have attended past Golf Classic events should note the earlier start. The schedule for the day is posted below.

All of the above benefits are included in the tournament fee of $125 per person. Entrants are asked to pay up front so we may reserve your - or your team’s - spot in the Golf Classic.
Contests include several "Closest to the Pin" competitions, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, Hit the Green and Putting competition. Awards will also be given to the winning team as well as the second and third place teams.
All alumni and guests are welcome to join our golfers for an evening of cocktails and a delicious post tournament buffet banquet at the Spring Meadows Clubhouse. Awards will be given during the banquet, which is included in the registration fee for the golfers and costs $25 for non-golfers to attend.
Sponsorships are currently available for the tournament. For more information, contact Athletics Director Brian Curtin at 207-893-6670 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
