Cleary Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's Volleyball player
Caitlin Cleary '13 (Scarborough,
ME) has been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference
Rookie of the Week after leading the Monks to the SJC Autumn
Invitational crown last weekend.
Cleary notched 34 kills, 20 service aces, and 54
digs in four matches over the weekend and was named as the SJC
Autumn Invitational Most Valuable Player. She posted her first
collegiate double-double with 12 kills and 29 digs against Green
Mountain in the tourney championship match on September 12th.
The first-year player currently leads St. Joe's in service aces
(33) and digs (92) and ranks second on the team in kills (90).
The Monks, off to a 7-4 start this fall, and will host Lesley
University this evening at 7:30 PM.
