SJC INTRAMURALS MISSION STATEMENT:
Why Intramurals?
Intramural activities provide a less competitive and informal environment where persons of all ability levels can compete together. Intramurals help transform spectators into active participants, and with 10 different sport activities, everyone has an opportunity to participate.
Along with the fitness and social benefits, intramurals at St. Joe’s provides students with an arena for healthy competition in which leaderships skills can be developed and sportsmanship is stressed. Also, Champions in each league will receive t-shirts to help boast their title!
Who can participate?
All current Saint Joseph’s College students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate. Varsity athletes may participate in activities outside of their particular sport, as long as their head coach approves of the activity.
How do I get involved?
Rupert Lewis is Intramurals Coordinator at St. Joe’s. Rosters for team sports are available at his office in the Alfond Center. Also, roster forms for all offered activities can be found here: You can also contact Coach Lewis by email at rlewis@sjcme.edu for more information about activities.
What activities are offered?
Below is a list of offerings for intramural activities. Successes of the leagues are essentially based on student body participation. Activities or leagues will only be offered if there is enough student participation and interest.
