SJC Athletics Complex
Completed in 2017, our athletic complex is a modern, multi-sport venue designed to support top-tier competition and training for student-athletes. The facility offers synthetic turf playing surfaces, competition lighting for evening events, and a full suite of amenities to enhance both performance and spectator experience.
Parking & Access:
On-site parking is conveniently available as part of the complex development, ensuring easy access for athletes, staff, and visitors.
Sports & Uses:
The complex hosts a variety of sports, including men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The eight-lane, 400-meter track also supports track and field events, with areas for jumping and throwing added in later phases.
Field & Dimensions:
The playing surface features durable synthetic turf and is adaptable for multiple sports, with field dimensions tailored to each:
- Field Hockey – 60 × 100 yards
- Men’s Lacrosse – 60 × 110 yards
- Women’s Lacrosse – 70 × 100 yards
- Soccer – 70 × 120 yards
Seating & Amenities:
The complex accommodates over 300 spectators with bleacher seating and includes a press box equipped with fiber optic data service, a NEVCO electronic scoreboard with customizable team and penalty displays, and a state-of-the-art sound and PA system.
Opening:
The facility opened in 2017, with its first event held on September 13 of that year.
