Saint Joseph's College of Maine

Why Saint Joseph’s? I chose Saint Joseph’s College because it offers the academic program I was looking for, the opportunity to compete in track and field, and an affordable education. I also loved the atmosphere on campus.

High School: Competed in indoor track for four years and cross country and outdoor track for three years at Scarborough High School…also participated in soccer and lacrosse as a freshman and club lacrosse as a sophomore…specialized in the 400-meter and 800-meter events…recorded personal-best marks of 14 feet in the long jump, 8.06 in the 55-meter dash, 25.96 in the 200, 56.92 in the 400, 1:34.26 in the 600, 2:12.87 in the 800, 5:04.95 in the 1,600, and 18:17 in the 5K…four-year varsity indoor track athlete and two-year varsity cross country and outdoor track competitor…received the cross country Coaches Award as a senior…helped the cross country team finish second at the SMAA Regional Championship and win the Class A State Championship as a junior before competing at the New England Championships…helped the team place third regionally and compete at the state championship as a senior…competed at the indoor track regional and state championships as a junior and senior…helped the 4x800 relay place second at the USM Invitational and the sprint medley relay finish seventh at the SMAA Championship as a senior…placed fifth in the 4x800 relay at the senior-year SMAA Outdoor Championship and competed at the regional and state meets…graduated cum laude and earned cum laude honors on the 2023 National Latin Exam…played with Maine Mussels Sixes during the summer before his junior year…volunteered at local running events.
