Saint Joseph's College of Maine

Why Saint Joseph’s? I chose Saint Joseph’s College because I love its location on the lake and knew it offered a strong medical program. I also wanted to continue running in college, and I believe the Saint Joseph’s program will push me to become an even better runner.

High School: Competed in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track for four years at Scarborough High School…raced in the 200-meter, 400-meter, 800-meter, mile, 3,200-meter, and 5K events along with the 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 relays…recorded personal-best times of 26.80 in the 200, 55.52 in the 400, 2:06 in the 800, 4:49 in the mile, 10:38 in the 3,200, and 18:03 in the 5K…three-year varsity cross country runner who earned Runner of the Year honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior…received Southern Maine Class A Regional Honorable Mention accolades and served as team captain as a senior…competed at the New England Cross Country Championships as a sophomore and junior…three-year varsity indoor track athlete who earned Runner of the Year honors as a junior and senior, All-Conference recognition as a sophomore and senior, and competed at the New England Championships as a senior…four-year varsity outdoor track athlete who received Runner of the Year honors each season…served as a senior captain in all three sports…helped the cross country team win the Class A State Championship as a junior and finish as the regional runner-up as a sophomore and junior…helped the indoor track team win conference and Class A state championships as a freshman and another state title as a junior…placed third in the 800-meter event at the Freshman Championship…graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the National Honor Society.
