Averi Beaudoin '26 (Monmouth, Maine), who helped Saint Joseph's College launch its women's golf program, joined the Monks as an assistant golf coach in September of 2026.
Beaudoin was one of two golfers to represent Saint Joseph's in the first women's tournament in program history in September 2023. She remained part of the program as it grew, competing at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Women's Championship in each of the next two seasons. In 2024, she teamed with her younger sister, Reese, now a junior with the Monks, to win the USM Cup.
"Averi was here when this program got started, and she helped lay the groundwork for the golfers who followed," said Golf Head Coach Don Flanagan. "She knows our team and what it takes to keep building it. I'm excited to have her working with our players."
Beaudoin completed her collegiate playing career in the fall of 2025 and graduated from Saint Joseph's with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Alongside her new coaching role, she works full time as a nurse at MaineGeneral Medical Center's Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.
