Why Saint Joseph's? I decided to attend SJC because of the sense of community. Every time I visited I was greeted with a smile by everyone around me. Between the people and the beautiful campus I knew SJC was right for me.
High School: Participated in soccer, track & field, and swimming at Green Mountain Union High School…Vermont State Champion and New England Qualifier in the 100-Breast…Swam club for 12 years…Indoor track & field New England Qualifier in 2021 and 2022 and SVL All-Star selection in 2020 and 2021…Garnered Southern Vermont League Team recognition in soccer in 2021…Member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.
Community Service: Taught stroke development to younger swimmers, organized a food drive, taught elementary soccer, taught elementary gymnastics, and packaged meals for Rise Against Hunger. Also volunteered at senior citizen holiday dinner, helped coach JV soccer, and brought Christmas presents to a rehabilitation center.
Personal: Berkley Madison Hutchins, daughter of Angela and Christopher Hutchins…Has one sister, Alex.
