Carter, a graduate of Southern Maine Community College’s sports management program, joins the Monks baseball staff as an assistant in his first season under head coach Will Sanborn. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach at SMCC under current Monks assistant Nic Lops, helping the SeaWolves capture three straight conference titles and reach the Small College World Series. Carter also worked with the outfielders at Bridgton Academy during the 2025 season under head coach Aaron Izaryk, and serves as an assistant coach for the Sanford Mainers of the NECBL in the summer—contributing to Sanford’s run to the semifinals in 2025.
