Magnant, a former head softball coach at Southern Maine Community College, was a three-time Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Coach of the Year and compiled a 50-29 overall record (.633 winning percentage) with a 21-7 conference mark over three seasons. During his tenure, he coached seven YSCC All-Conference selections, seven United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-Americans, and five USCAA Academic All-Americans.

Magnant began his coaching career as the head softball coach at Massabesic High School from 2012-14. He later returned to his alma mater, Biddeford High School, where he guided the varsity softball program to the 2016 Class A State Championship. He also spent three years coaching with the New England Elite Softball program and three years with the Southern Maine River Rats USA Softball travel program.

A Biddeford High School graduate, Magnant is also a full-time employee at Shaw’s Distribution Center in Wells. A native of Biddeford, Maine, he resides in Biddeford with his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Amber and Kayla.
