Standish, Maine - Saint Joseph 's College (1-0-1) battled visiting Southern Maine (1-1-1) through two overtime periods, but remained deadlocked 1-1 as the clock ran out.

Junior Harrison Deah (Monrovia, Liberia) scored at 6:30 and St. Joe's held the lead until Southern Maine freshman Sinisa Bajic (Portland, ME) evened things at 32:55.

The Huskies held a 20-8 advantage in shots for the game, but were unable to convert due to strong performances from St. Joe's defenders senior Steve Jette (Richford, VT) and freshmen Lane Hubacz (Mapleville, RI) and Philip Raymond (Harrisville, RI). Senior keeper Brian White (Colebrook, NH) recorded 12 saves for the Monks while junior Chris Willard (Hampton, CT) had 5 saves for Southern Maine.

Six players logged 110 minutes for the Monks.
