Beverly, MA - The Saint Joseph's College men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Endicott College on Wednesday night. Kyle Schmutte (Wilbraham, MA) scored the game-winning goal in the opening minutes of the second half when he received a pass from Eric Booth (Belchertown, MA) inside the Monks' six yard box and lifted a shot past SJC goalkeeper Cory Smith (Ellsworth, ME).

The Gulls added another goal in the 59th minute as Ruben Margolis (Mexico City, Mexico) headed home a throw in from TJ Sapienza (Milford, NH).

Smith had eight saves for the Monks.

The St. Joe's squad travels to Maine-Presque Isle for a double-header with the women's team on Saturday, October 28th, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
