New Haven, CT - The SJC Women's Soccer Team was back in action Sunday facing GNAC foe Albertus Magnus. The game was tied 0-0 until the 43rd minute when Monks FY Mikayla Call (Portland, ME) scored her 12th goal of the season off a pass from SR Jillian Leger (Westminster, MA). FY Jessica Needham (E. Bridgewater, MA) scored her 5th goal of the year in the 75th minute which was assisted by Call. JR Heather Stanger (Rockport, MA) scored in the 81st minute to make the final score 3-0. The goal was Stanger's second of the season and was unassisted.

The Monks (12-1-0, 8-1-0 GNAC) out-shot Albertus Magnus (8-4-1, 5-4-1 GNAC) by a wide margin as the Falcons could only muster 2 kicks on net while the SJC Women peppered the net with 24 shots on goal.

The SJC Women's Soccer Team travels to Waterville, ME on Wednesday 10/10 to take on the Colby College Mules. Game time is 4:00 PM.
