STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's (3-12, 0-3 GNAC) lost to GNAC rival Pine Manor College (5-2, 2-0 GNAC) on Saturday in five sets, 3-2 (24-26, 25-18, 25-20, 18-25, 14-16). Katie Boccanelli '12 (Cottonwood, AL) registered 21 digs and 10 kills and Samantha Varrell '12 (Portsmouth, NH) added 25 assists and 14 digs in the losing effort.

Jordan Pelczar '12 (Meredith, NH) had 20 digs and eight kills, Kiersten Carbone '12 (North Reading, MA) recorded 15 digs and seven kills and Mary Hoyt '11 (Rochester, NH) posted 13 digs for Saint Joseph's. Sophomore Kendra Frye (Moultonborough, NH) blasted four service aces in the losing bid.

For Pine Manor, Veronica Vozzolo registered 33 digs, Ally Austin had 29 assists and 11 digs and Andrea Lavigne added 25 digs and 11 kills.

St. Joe's will play at Maine-Farmington on Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00 PM while the Gators will hit the court on Friday, September 26th at Regis College for a 7:00 PM match.
