STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College (4-8, 1-0 GNAC) fell to Bates College (3-5), 3-0 (25-19, 25-8, 25-12) and defeated GNAC-rival Albertus Magnus College (1-8, 0-1 GNAC), 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-21), in a women's volleyball tri-match at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday.

• Freshman Maggie Sylvester (Barrington, N.H.) notched three kills and a service ace
• Junior Hanna Holden (Stoughton, Mass.) added 11 assists and two digs
• Freshman Sierra Burns (Peyton, Colo.) chipped in with seven digs and an ace
• Seniors Sarah Quinn (Dover, N.H.) and Hannah Bureau (Alton, N.H.) and junior Catherine Balzano (Portland, Maine) tacked on three kills apiece

• Freshman Allison McMullen (Jacksonville, Fla.) added 10 kills with no errors on 14 attempts for a .714 attack rate

• Quinn notched nine kills and a pair of block assists
• Burns contributed 14 digs, five assists, and three aces
