BREWSTER, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College finished in a tie for 17th with a 653 (332-321) team score in the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Men's Championship hosted at The Captains Golf Course over the weekend.
Saint Joseph's posted a 332 total (+48) in the opening round and combined for a 321 (+37) in second round, an 11-shot improvement from their day one tally and the Monks' top round score this fall.
The University of Hartford won the team championship by two shots with a 598 composite score while Western New England University (600), Endicott College (605), Southern Maine (614), and Salem State (615) rounded out the top five institutions.
Derek Johnson of Western New England, who shot a two-day total of 144 (E) to win by one stroke, was the 2025 NEIGA Championship Medalist.

- Freshman Jason Curran (North Reading, Mass.) – 87 (43-44) +15; 7 pars, 7 bogeys, 3 double bogeys; 92nd overall
- Junior Noah Tibbetts (Brewer, Maine) – 89 (44-45) +17; 1 birdie, 6 pars, 3 bogeys, 7 double bogeys; 112th overall
SECOND ROUND:
- Finn Manning – 79 (40-39) +7; 3 birdies, 6 pars, 8 bogeys, 1 double bogey; moved up four spots to 51st overall and finished as SJC's top performer through two rounds
- Kyle Bowlan – 80 (42-38) +8; 10 pars, 8 bogeys; slipped to 55th overall
- AJ Davis – 80 (40-40) +8; 2 birdies, 7 pars, 6 bogeys, 2 double bogeys; jumped nine spots to 72nd overall
- Jason Curran – 82 (40-42) +10; 2 birdies, 6 pars, 6 bogeys, 3 double bogeys; moved up six places to 86th overall
- Noah Tibbetts – 91 (43-48) +19; 4 pars, 9 bogeys, 5 double bogeys; dropped to 121st overall
The NEIGA Championship marks the conclusion of the 2025 fall season for the Monks. The team figures to compete in several events during the 2026 spring season.
