Before kickoff, the Monks recognized the men's soccer program's seven seniors: Joseph Perron (South Portland, Maine), Griffin Forbes (Manchester, N.H.), Hayes Sweeney (Hollis, Maine), Brady Cormier (Waterboro, Maine), Gavin Lins (Manchester, N.H.), Jeff Painchaud (Hollis, Maine), and Logan Davis (Naples, Maine).
This senior class has helped guide Saint Joseph's to a 40-25-7 (.604) overall record, including a 36-12-3 (.735) ledger in GNAC play, with three postseason appearances during their careers.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Despite generating numerous chances over the next half-hour, the Monks didn't break through again until late. Marion capitalized on a rebound from a Godin Ndayishimiye (Bujumbura, Burundi) attempt with 3:37 left, and just 12 seconds later, junior Zander Haskell (Scarborough, Maine) pounced on a loose ball after Divin Mpinga (Kinshasa, DRC) was denied at close range, sealing the 4-0 triumph.
