NORTON, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College capped an appearance in the Chris Fisher Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College, on Saturday in fifth place with seven total points.
Babson overcame a 48-point deficit after day one to clip Roger Williams, 843-825, for the top slot while Wheaton (657), Eastern Connecticut (447), and Saint Joseph's (7) rounded out the field of competing institutions.
FOR THE MONKS:
- Senior Elise Soucy (Saco, Maine) finished 16th in the 100-Back prelims (1:11.70) and placed 15th in the 100-Back finals with a 1:11.50 effort
- Junior Bri Letourneau (Lewiston, Maine) was 15th in the 100-Fly (1:24.36) and finished 15th in the 100-Fly finals (1:24.15)
- Freshman Madison Oh (Ringwood, N.J.) placed 19th in the 100-Back prelims (1:28.89) and 20th in the 50-Free prelims (31.08)
- Freshman Morgan Farley (Windham, Maine) finished seventh in the 400-IM prelims (5:47.98) and 17th in the 100-Back prelims (1:14.17)
- Soucy, Farley, Letourneau, and Oh finished 13th in the 200-Medley relay prelim with a 2:21.95 performance
- Farley, Soucy, Oh, and Letourneau posted a 4:34.51 time and placed 11th in the 400-Free relay prelims
