STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College of Maine women's swimming and diving team has been recognized as a CSCAA Fall 2025 Scholar All-America Team, as announced Tuesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Monks earned the distinction after posting a 3.66 cumulative team GPA during the Fall 2025 semester, meeting the CSCAA's academic standard for Scholar All-America recognition. The Scholar All-America honor is the highest academic award presented by the CSCAA and highlights programs that achieve excellence in the classroom while competing at the collegiate level.
"I'm incredibly proud of our Monks Swimming student-athletes for earning CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition with a 3.66 cumulative GPA for the fall 2025 semester," said Head Coach Father Steven Cartwright. "This distinguished honor reflects the culture we are building upon and continuing into the future here at SJC for both our women's and men's swimming teams, which demands both excellence in the classroom and excellence in the pool. These four women are setting the standard for what this looks like and as a testament to their hard work in both arenas, I could not be more thrilled for them."
Saint Joseph's was one of hundreds of programs nationwide honored for its commitment to academics, with teams needing a minimum 3.00 GPA to qualify for the award.
