BIDDEFORD, Maine – Saint Joseph's College (1-1) dropped a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-16) decision to Maine Maritime Academy in non-conference volleyball action at the Harold Alfond Forum on the University of New England campus Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Monks were efficient at the net, hitting .271 with 33 kills on 85 swings, but the Mariners countered with a .355 clip (36 kills on 76 attempts) and used 18 service aces to seize control of the match. Saint Joseph's managed five aces in the setback.
