Sophomore Ava Markham (Belfast, Maine) opened the scoring at 6:25 off an assist from junior Zoey Lailer (Limington, Maine). Girard doubled the lead with her first goal of the season just 31 seconds into the second quarter, with junior Katie Yeaton (Farmington, Maine) and freshman Macy Hickey (West Gardiner, Maine) collecting assists.

Freshman Ashley Inman (Steep Falls, Maine) extended the advantage to 3-0 at 27:06 off a feed from Markham.

Rivier cut the deficit at 36:03 when Brianna Spinelli scored off an assist from Lexi Davies, but Saint Joseph's answered with two fourth-quarter goals. Sophomore Myia SeeHusen (Corinna, Maine) scored at 46:58 on Markham's second assist of the afternoon, then set up freshman Dasia Alberico (Skowhegan, Maine) at 53:13 to complete the scoring.

Markham finished with a goal and two assists, while SeeHusen contributed a goal and an assist.
