Ramadan, Labrie Earn GNAC Weekly Honors

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College junior Haytham Ramadan and sophomore Ella Labrie have been recognized for their performances at the Monks Track & Field Invite, as Ramadan was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week and Labrie earned Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Ramadan turned in one of the top performances in NCAA Division III over the weekend, winning the 800 meters in a DIII New England qualifying and facility-record time of 1:51.77. With the performance, the junior now ranks ninth in NCAA Division III and second in the New England region in the event.

Labrie posted a strong all-around performance in the jumps for the Monks, placing second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.49 meters (4' 10.5"), third in the long jump with a mark of 4.98 meters (16' 4.25"), and third in the triple jump at 10.45 meters (34' 3.5"). Labrie now leads the GNAC in all three events and finished just 0.01 meters shy of her own program record in the triple jump.

Saint Joseph's also placed several student-athletes on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll following the home meet.

On the women's side, Audrey Bilodeau (Standish, Maine) earned weekly honor roll recognition after winning the 100-meter hurdles in a DIII New England qualifying time of 15.97 and the 400-meter hurdles in 1:10.13, while also running on the Monks' second-place 4x100-meter relay. Bilodeau currently ranks second in the GNAC in both hurdle events.

Olivea Miller (Gray, Maine) was also named to the weekly honor roll after a strong day across multiple events. Miller finished second in the 200 meters in 27.69, fourth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.49 meters (4' 10.5"), and fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.96 meters (16' 3.25"). She currently ranks third in the conference in the 200 meters, is tied for first in the high jump, and sits second in the long jump.

For the men, junior Matthew Corriveau (Dover, N.H.) collected weekly honor roll accolades after winning the long jump with a DIII New England qualifying mark of 6.79 meters (22' 3.5"). The victory was his third straight in the event this season, and the mark currently places him first in the GNAC and 10th in the DIII New England region.

Saint Joseph's returns to action this weekend when the Monks compete at the Pine Tree Classic Maine State Championships.
