CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College placed sixth at the Southern Maine Community College Invitational at Purpoodock Club on Sunday afternoon. The event was suspended due to weather and darkness, and scoring was shifted to the lowest three scores for each team through the last completed hole, the 16th.

The Monks finished with a team score of 332. Junior Reese Beaudoin (Monmouth, Maine) led Saint Joseph's with a 103, tying for 11th overall, while sophomore Cailin Henry (Wells, Maine) placed 15th with a 114. Junior Dakota Morgan (Norway, Maine) supplied the Monks' third counting score with a 115.

Senior Breya Whitman (Auburn, Maine) also competed for Saint Joseph's before play was halted.

The University of New England won the six-team event with a score of 262, followed by host Southern Maine Community College (277) and Husson University (287). UNE's Abby Flanagan and SMCC's Grace Thompson shared medalist honors with matching scores of 82.
