STANDISH, Maine - The Saint Joseph’s College field hockey team, led by third-year Head Coach Theresa Arsenault '14, welcomes a 12-player freshman class for the 2026 season, adding depth across every area of the field. The group includes three players listed primarily at forward, five with midfield experience, four defensive options, and two goalkeepers.
The attacking contingent features forwards Dasia Alberico (Skowhegan, Maine) and Ashley Inman (Steep Falls, Maine), along with forward/midfielder Macy Hickey (West Gardiner, Maine). Lily Huntley (Wilton, Maine), Kayla Magnant (Biddeford, Maine), and Chloe Masse (Oakland, Maine) bolster the midfield, while Hailie Morton (Brunswick, Maine) offers additional versatility as a midfielder and defender.
Emilia Bukarac (Scarborough, Maine), Emma Lyons (Mirror Lake, N.H.), and Emma McGary (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) join the defensive unit. The class also provides the Monks with a pair of new goalkeepers in Sofia Bea (North Andover, Mass.) and Adriana Pettengill (Belgrade, Maine).
Ten of the 12 newcomers hail from Maine, with nine different communities across the state represented. Lyons and Bea round out the group’s New England footprint, arriving from New Hampshire and Massachusetts, respectively. The class also includes a pair of former Messalonskee High School teammates in Masse and Pettengill.
