Saint Joseph's College of Maine

2023: Played in 15 games, starting in nine. He batted .192, driving in one run, scoring three runs and hitting one double on the season. He had a 1.000 fielding percentage on the season, recording one outfield assist on March 11th against Grove City. On March 10th against Loras, he went 3-3 with a run, RBI, and a double.

2022: Played in 28 games as a freshman, starting in 19. He batted .277 on the season with 18 runs scored, three doubles, three RBIs, and two triples. His .286 on base percentage led to him stealing seven bags on the season. He had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with one outfield assist. On May 3rd against Bowdoin, he was 5-5 hitting with three runs scored in the loss. 

Why Saint Joseph's? I chose Saint Joseph's because of the tight knit community and to contribute a continually successful baseball program. 

High School: Played baseball and football at Cohasset High School...earned All-League honors in both football and baseball...selected as a team captain...helped his team win the South Shore League Championship in 2018 and 2019...helped guide his football team to the South Sectional finals in 2018...played club for the Weymouth Shamrocks. 

Community Service: Appalachian state project in 2016. 

Personal: Clifford Ryan Ward, son of Jill and Lance Ward...has one sister, Katelyn.
