2020: The sophomore pitcher made three appearances including two games started on the season with a 2.51 ERA with 14 1/3 innings pitched including 10 strikeouts while striking out 6.28 (K/9)...picked up his first win on the season with a dominating pitching performance against Endicott College...pitching a complete game shutout only allowing six hits, one walk, while punching out five batters in his final start of the season. 

2019: The freshman pitcher made 13 appearances including 10 starts finishing the season with a 2.53 ERA in a team high 57 innings pitched with 34 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .225 batting average garnering First Team All Conference honors…picked up his first collegiate win in his collegiate start on game two of a double header against Northern Vermont-Lyndon he pitched 4 1/3 innings giving up four runs with two strikeouts in a 10-5 win…in his second start of the season he picked up his second win pitching four innings giving up one hit while striking out one in a 10-2 win over Gordon…on March 24th in game two of a double header against Franklin he picked up his fourth win of the season after he pitched a complete game giving up one run on four hits while striking out five in a 3-1 win…on April 13th in game one of a double header against Norwich he picked up his fifth win pitching a complete game shutout giving up four hits while striking out four…in the NCAA Regional tournament on May 18th against Baruch he picked up his seventh win of the season pitching seven inning giving up five hits and striking out six in an 11-0 win.

High School: Played three years of varsity baseball for Dan Keleher and Bob Larson at Salem High School...made the NHIAA Playoffs all three years...earned Second Team All-State and Most Valuable Player on the baseball team senior season...went 5-0 with an 3.76 ERA, 48 strikeouts in 41 IP...made honor roll all four years... also played golf junior and senior year and hockey freshman year.

Personal: Matthew Walter Bergeron, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, grew up in Salem, NH...son of Mike and Laurie Bergeron...majoring in Mathematics.
