Biography

2012: Appeared in three games with one start as a freshman goalkeeper…faced five shots with two saves and a pair of goals allowed in 103:19 between the pipes…logged 35 minutes and made one save in a 2-0 triumph over Anna Maria College on September 9th…earned her first collegiate start and played 33:19 minutes against Rivier University on September 23rd…made one stop in 35 minutes of mop-up duty versus Colby-Sawyer College on October 21st.

High School: Played four years of varsity field hockey for Melissa Forbes at Mountain Valley High School…advanced to the Class B playoffs all four years…helped her team capture the MVC title as a freshman…led Mountain Valley to a Western Class B Championship appearance…claimed MVP, Coaches’ Award and Honorable Mention accolades during her high school career…also participated in cheerleading and lacrosse.

Personal: Emily Rose Gallant, born on November 29, 1993 in Rumford Maine…daughter of Kate Gallant and Todd Wentzell…majoring in Criminal Justice.

What she does outside of field hockey: Enjoys skiing and gymnastics.
