Why Saint Joseph’s? I chose Saint Joseph’s College for the opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career at a school that was the right fit for me.

High School: Played basketball for four years and golf for one year at Rutland High School…served as basketball team captain as a senior…selected to play in the 2026 Vermont Senior All-Star Game and earned All-League and Vermont All-State Honorable Mention recognition…helped Rutland advance to the Vermont Final Four at the University of Vermont’s Patrick Gymnasium in 2024 and 2026…member of the National Honor Society…played club basketball with Save Sports Elite of Durham, North Carolina, and Rutland Basketball Club…participated in Key Club, recreation sports clinics, and Unified Sports.

Personal: Ethan Patrick Whalen, son of Patrick and Sheryn Whalen…brother of Ellie Whalen.
