2021-22: Foley enjoyed a breakout season as a senior guard…selected as a team captain…averaged 17.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 48.8% (185-379) from the field, 35.3% (59-167) from downtown, and 71.4% (50-70) from the FT line in 27 games, all starts…earned Third Team All-GNAC accolades and listed on the GNAC weekly honor roll three times during the season…also claimed a pair of MMBCWA weekly honor roll awards…ranked third in the GNAC in field goals made, fourth in points (479), fifth in points per 40 minutes (23.2) and seventh in three-pointers made and scoring average…led the Monks in scoring in nine different games…netted 26 points with five boards in a 104-94 win over New England College on November 13th.

2020-21: In six games Foley averaged 15.5 points with an impressive 51.4% shooting (37-72) and 44% (11-25) from the three and 71% (5-7) from the line...Foley’s best performance was against Colby where the junior guard had 29 points on 13-20 shooting as well as grabbing six boards...a week later at Husson Foley would score 20 points on 9-14 shooting.

2019-20: Played in 24 games and started in 19 as a sophomore…averaged 28.7 minutes and 11.5 points and three assists per game…had 16 steals and five blocks on the season…scored his first game high of 19 points in the first game on Nov. 9th against Colby-Sawyer College after going 70% from the field (7-10), two-for-three from downtown, and 100% from the free throw line (3-3)…on Nov. 23rd he scored another 19 points in the win over Husson University after being five-for-six from the three-point range…scored 18 points vs. University of Southern Maine on Dec. 1st after being 50% (6-12) from the field…on Jan 29th in the victory over Rivier University Foley scored another 18 points and was 60% (6-10) from the field and five-for-eight from downtown.

2018-19: Played in 8 games as a freshman…averages 2.9 minutes per game… averaged 0.8 points per game, 0.3 assists per game, and 0.4 rebounds per game…scored his fist varsity points in a win over Rivier University on Jan 29th…also scored a season high five points in a victory over Rivier on Dec. 29th.

High School: Played basketball and football at Portland High School…Earned a pair of All-SMAA Second Team honors as well as All-Tournament Team and Coaches Award accolades…Averaged 12.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game during his senior year...All-Conference wide receiver and All-Academic honoree for football…Helped the Bulldogs make three State Championship appearances with a pair of Maine State Championships…Was also a member a football program that made two State Championship appearances…Listed on the Academic Honor Roll throughout high school.

Community Service: Helped unload buses (four years) for thanksgivings at the soup kitchen

Personal: Griffin John Foley, son of Trina and Philip…Has three siblings: Tanner, Ryan, and Christina.
