Biography

2015: Started 10 games as a senior defender…picked up 21 groundballs and caused 23 turnovers…recorded three groundballs and four caused turnovers in a loss to Mount Ida on March 28…tallied four groundballs and three caused turnovers versus Johnson & Wales on April  11…finished his career with 13 points on seven goals and six assists, 123 groundballs, and 66 caused turnovers.

2014: Played in all 14 games with 10 starts as a junior…scored a goal with three assists for four total points on the year…picked up 29 ground balls with 19 caused turnovers…recorded three caused turnovers in four different games…tallied a goal and an assist in an 11-7 win over Albertus Magnus College on April 19th.

2013: Played in 16 contests with five starts as a sophomore…netted three goals with three assists for six total points…added 25 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers…collected five ground balls against Husson University on February 26th…contributed five ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in a loss to Plymouth State on March 7th…dished out two assists in a 14-5 win over Emerson College on March 30th…potted a pair of goals with an assist in a 16-8 victory versus GNAC-rival Becker College on April 10th.

2012: Played in 17 games as a freshman long-stick midi…netted three goals with 48 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers…scored all three of his goals in an 18-2 triumph over Rivier on April 21st…picked up a season-best 11 ground balls in a 13-11 victory over GNAC-rival Anna Maria College on March 24th. 

High School: Played and started three years of varsity lacrosse for Bucky Brandt at Mount Mansfield Union High School...helped lead his team to a Final Four appearance his junior year...played VTribe Elite Lax Academy for Paul Shmoler during the summer of 2010...selected to participate in the Senior Showcase Game...also played four years of varsity hockey and two years of varsity soccer...collected the Wendell Reed Award for displaying the tenets of sportsmanship as a member of the soccer team. 

Personal: Colby Main, born in Burlington, Vermont...son of Tyler and Leah Main. Exercise Science Major.
