Accolades: 
All-GNAC Academic: 2018, 2019, 2020

2020: Played and started in all four games as a senior defender…on Feb. 25th recorded three ground balls and two caused turnovers in the 18-4 victory over Husson University…tallied a ground ball and had three caused turnovers at Whittier College on Mar. 3rd…two days later in the 19-7 win vs Houghton College he had two ground balls and a caused turnover in the last game of the shortened season.

2019: Played in 17 games and started in 16 of them as a junior defenseman…picked up 22 groundballs and caused 17 turnovers…also had an assist…got awarded GNAC All-Academic honors.

2018: Played in 16 games as a sophomore defender…registered 7 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers…garnered GNAC All-Academic honors.

2017: played in 14 of the 15 games as a freshman defenseman...scooped up 12 ground balls and caused 4 turnovers.

High School: Played three years of varsity lacrosse for Dan Seavey at Kennebunk High School...listed on honor roll...also played ice hockey.

Personal: Joseph Edward Mooney, born in Portland, Maine...son of Mark and Jen Mooney...double majoring in Pre-OT.
