2022: Played in three games and started in two as a senior goalkeeper…had a 66.7 save percentage in 15 minutes against Moravian College on Mar. 6th…had a season high of 19 saves in 60 minutes on Mar. 29th versus Colby College…tallied four ground balls when defeating Albertus Magnus College 16-1 on Apr. 15th.
2021: Played in eight games and started in six as a junior goalkeeper…had nine saves in 35 minutes in the first game of the season on Mar. 7th in the 18-7 win over Maine Maritime Academy…had a season high of 19 saves after 60 minutes at Norwich University on Mar. 27th… three days later allowed three goals and saved five in 30 min of play winning 19-10 at Anna Maria College…was in net in the 16-15 overtime win at Rivier University on Apr. 7th..had all five wins on the season.
2020: Played in two games and started in one as a sophomore goalkeeper…recorded 45 minutes on Feb. 25th and had eight saves in the 18-4 victory over Husson University…had four saves in the last game of the shortened season on Mar. 5th in the 19-7 win vs Houghton College…recording a win on the season.
2019: Played in seven games and started in two as a freshman goalkeeper…had 20 saves with a save average of .500…had 158 minutes in goal…also registered four groundballs.
Why Saint Joseph's? When I toured the school I felt like I fit in right away. I got to meet a few of the students on my tour and all of them were nice and made me feel welcomed. Coach Cosentino and Coach Horgan were also awesome during the tour making it enjoyable and still staying informative.
High School: Played football, soccer, hockey, and lacrosse at Williston-Northampton High School…Named School Athlete of the Week (2018 - Lacrosse) and Most Improved Player (2017 - Lacrosse)…2017 Division 2 Colonial Lacrosse Tournament Champions…Listed on the academic Honor Roll…Played club for Catamount Lacrosse for six years.
Personal: Michael Tadeusz Janocha, son of Peter and Sheila Janocha…Has one sister, Karen Janocha.
