Biography

2024: Played in seven games

2023: Appeared in 5 games as a freshman midfielder.

Why Saint Joseph's? I wanted to see how far I can go in soccer and really test myself with a great team. I also wanted to get out of New Jersey and explore new places like Maine. 

High School: Competed in soccer for four years, track for two, and tennis for one at Manasquan High School…in 2022 was named to the First Team All-Division, All-Shore Second team, All-County First Team, All-State Third Team, and selected for the Shore All-Star game…were State Cup Finalist in 2021, was the leading scorer for Manasquan, was an All-Star selection scoring a goal…played club for PDA Shore Thiago for four years…scored a goal in State Cup Quarterfinal and semifinal games against the #1 ranked team in the nation at the time (Real Jersey)…was a member of Key Club.   

Personal: Aidan James Sugrue, son of James and Anne Sugrue…brother to Brian Sugrue.
