2012: Appeared in 14 games with two starts as a freshman midfielder…collected his first NCAA point with an assist on the game-tying goal of a 3-2 victory over University of Southern Maine on August 31st. 

High School: Played four years of varsity soccer for Art Simms at Gloucester High School…helped his side make the MIAA Tournament and garnered 2012 NEC All-Star honors…scored 10 goals during his high school career including eight as a senior…paced the team in assists his junior and senior years…netted the game-winning goal versus Stoneham, pushing his side further in the tournament…named as the recipient of the JJ Nicastro Scholarship Award and Dylan Hill Scholarship Award…also played for Winchester Sachems FC.

Personal: Paulo Raphael Lopes, born on August 27,1993 in Gloucester, Mass…son of Joao and Rosa Lopes…majoring in Criminal Justice.

What he does outside of soccer: Chills with friends and family…also enjoys swimming.
