2023: Appeared in ten games as a senior defender…recorded his first collegiate goal in a 1-0 win against Emmanuel College on September 19th.
2022: Appeared in five games as a junior defender…recorded one shot on goal.
Why Saint Joseph's? I wanted a school that focused on academics, while killing it on the soccer field, and I feel that SJC excels at that.
High School: Played soccer and lacrosse at Gorham High School…as a senior, garnered First Team All-SMAA, Regional All-Star, and GHS Offensive Player of the Year accolades…also named Honorable Mention All-SMAA as a junior…helped lead his team to several successful postseason runs, including Regional Finals appearances in 2017 and 2019 and a Regional Championship and State Finals appearance in 2018…played club for the Rosevelt Soccer Club for six years and played on the 2019 Maine State Premier League Championship side.
Community Service: Special Olympics and 4v4 Frozen Cup.
Personal: Travis Michael Matheson, son of Karen Rogers-Campbell and Michael Matheson…has one brother, Tyler…his mother, Karen (Rogers) is a member of the SJC Athletics Hall of Fame and was a two-sport standout (soccer & basketball) at St. Joe's.
