2023: Started 18 of 18 games played as a senior defender with the Monks…recorded one goal and two assists totaling four points…recorded an assist in a 2-0 victory against New England College on September 27th…recorded an assist in a 3-0 victory against Rivier University on October 11th…scored a goal in a 3-0 victory against Regis College on October 28th…earned All-Conference First Team and All-Region Second Team accolades…named as team captain for the 2024 season. 

2022: Started 19 games as a junior defender during his first campaign with the Monks…recorded one goal and five assists totaling seven points…recorded an assist in a 2-1 victory against Norwich University on September 10th…netted one goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over Albertus Magnus College on October 5th…earned All-Conference: Second Team and All-Region Third Team accolades…named as team captain for the 2023 season. 

Why Saint Joseph's? I attended SJC because it allows me to compete in high level collegiate soccer. It has a community feel where you can build strong relationships and balance academics, too.

Before St. Joe's: Played four games as a freshman defender for NCAA DI program University at Albany.

High School: Lettered four years in soccer and baseball at the New Hampton School…soccer team captain as a junior and senior, and baseball team captain as a senior…scored three goals with two assists as a senior…2019 All-Lakes Region in soccer…2019 NEPSSA All-Star…2019 All-NEPSAC…2018 All-Lakes Region in soccer…2019 team MVP, Joe Plaia Male Athlete of the Year, and Meservey Medal…2018 Coaches' Award and Skip Howard Male Underclassman Student-Athlete of the Year…2017 Skip Howard Male Underclassman Student-Athlete of the Year…2016 Coaches' Award…2017 Lakes Region baseball champion…member of the Cum Laude Society, Honor Board Chair, and Senior Husky Ambassador.

Community Service: Senior Husky Ambassador (tour guide for New Hampton).

Personal: William Walker Wood, son of Tracy and Ken Wood…has one sister, Samantha Wood.
