2025: Played in 38 games and started 35...recorded a .310 batting average...tallied 31 hits, 22 RBI's, 19 runs, nine walks, two stolen bases and one home run...caught five stolen bases...recorded a career-high three hits including a double along with two RBI's, one run and one stolen base at Thomas (Mar. 22)...tallied two hits including a double along with a walk and an RBI and recorded a career-high three runs at Mitchell (Mar. 29)...hit her first career home run in a two hit game at Southern Maine (Apr. 2)...matched her career-high three hits including a double and added two runs along with a career-high three RBI's at Norwich (Apr. 14)

2024: Played in 22 games and started 18...recorded a .262 batting average...recorded 11 hits, seven RBI's, seven walks and six runs...caught three stolen bases...recorded two hits including a double along with two RBI's and one run vs. Norwich (Apr. 18)...tallied two hits and two runs vs. Johnson & Wales (RI) (May 4)

2023: Played in 25 games and started 21...recorded a .288 batting average...recorded 17 hits, five runs, four walks and three RBI's...caught five stolen bases...tallied two hits at University of New England (Mar. 29)...recorded one hit, one run and one RBI vs. Maine-Farmington (Apr. 12)...career-high three caught stolen bases at Simmons (May. 4)

2022: The freshman backstop played in 17 games, hitting .286 (.368 in conference) with six runs scored, one double, and one RBI. Her seven walks led to an on base percentage of .405. She fielded .947 on the season, and threw out four runners on the year. In the second game of a doubleheader with Regis, she went 2-2 with two runs scored, a double, an RBI and a walk in the win.

Why Saint Joseph's?: Small school and really invested in students.

High School: Played three years of football, and four years of basketball and softball for Morse High School…hit 15 home runs in her softball career, in 2021 batting average was.395, slugging average was .567, and Fielding average was .971…received the 2020 & 2021 Coaches Award for basketball, was the 2019 and 2021 Softball Offensive Player of the Year, and garnered the 2021 Excellence in Leadership Award…helped her softball team become the2017/18 Regional Runner-Up… was on the honor roll all four years…played club for the Lady Mavericks for two years, Maine Thunder Softball for three years with multiple championships.

Community Service: Refereed for youth basketball and umpired for youth baseball and softball.

Personal: Abigail Theresa Carpenter…daughter to Jill and Scott Carpenter…sister to Nate, Alex, Zach, Parker, and Paxton.
