2022:The sophomore played in 23 games, batting .278 (.364 in conference) with seven RBIs, four runs scored, and a double. She walked once, tallying an on base percentage of .289. She fielded .923 on the season. In the March 11th win over MCLA, she went 1-3 with a two run double and a run scored. April 3rd against Regis, she went 3-3 with three runs scored and an RBI in the win.
2021: Played in five games in her 2021 season at third base…went .375 at the plate, with one rbi and one run on the season…had a perfect season in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage(two put outs and four assists)…finished her season on April 13th, playing third base for the Monks in a tough 15-0 loss against the USM Huskies.
Why Saint Joseph's? The small community
High School: Played softball at Edward Little High School…received KVAC Second Team, KVAC All-Academic, and Freshman Coaches Award.…listed on honor roll, was on the National Honor Society, and garnered an Academic Excellence Award....played club for Western Maine Wildfire for four years.
Community Service: National Honor Society Kiddie night and volunteered at the animal shelter and food bank.
Personal: Alexis Lorraine Downs, daughter of Megan and Scott Downs.
