2022: The senior backstop started in 32 of her 34 games played, while hitting .343 with 20 runs scored, 18 RBIs, eight doubles, and a triple. She walked nine times to get her on base percentage up to .400. She fielded .965, throwing out five runners on the season. March 8th, she went 3-3 with a double and two runs scored in the win over Sage. April 15th against Norwich she was 2-3 with a double, two RBIs, and a run scored in the victory.
2021: Led the team with a .379 batting average in nine games played in her junior season…drove in four RBIs, stealing a base and scoring twice herself…had an .875 fielding percentage from behind the plate, with 16 putouts and 5 assists…finished her 2021 season on April 18th against the Norwich Cadets.
2020: Played in five games in the shortened 10-game season…went .154 at the plate, with one of each of the following; RBI, run, and stolen base…had a .913 fielding percentage from behind the plate, recording 20 putouts and one assist…finished her season as a dp on March 20th, going 1-2 at the plate in a tough 9-1 loss against Webster University.
2019: The freshman catcher appeared in 24 games including 23 starts finishing the season with a .250 average and a .280 on-base percentage with three doubles, 14 RBIs, and six runs scored…in her collegiate debut on March 3rd against Bluffton she went three for four with four RBIs and a run scored in a 10-5 win…in a rematch with Bluffton on March 6th she went two for three with three RBIs in a 7-6 win…in game two of a doubleheader with Albertus Magnus on March 6th she went three for four with a double and two RBIs…in a GNAC Tournament game with Johnson and Wales on May 3rd she went two for three with an RBI in a 3-2 win.
Why Saint Joseph's? I liked the small community and it has my major which is a huge plus.
High School: Played softball and volleyball at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School…2018 Sun Chronicle All-Star…appeared in the South Coast Conference Championship twice…batted .380 last season…played club for New England Phoenix Gold.
Community Service: Participated in a bottle drive and Pride clam boil.
Personal: Bailey Lyn Rassol…daughter of Kim and Jeff.
