2018: Played in 29 games while starting 26 of them...made 23 starts in center, two in right, and one in left...hit .154 (8-52) with four runs, one double, and two RBI’s...posted a .957 fielding percentage while only committing one error in 23 total chances...went 1-2 with a run scored against Penn St.-New Kens. in a lopsided 10-0 victory for the Monks...against the University of Southern Maine on March 29th she went 1-2 with a run scored...garnered GNAC All-Academic.
2017: Played in 25 games, starting 16 of them as a Monks’ outfielder…batted a .225 (9-40) possessing one RBI, four runs and 14 putouts … had a good day offensively for the Monks’ on April 22nd against Johnson and Wales going 1-2 while collecting one run, one double, and an RBI… also went 2-2 against Lasell on April 29th.
2016: Played in 13 games with one start as a junior outfielder...hit .222 (2-9) with one RBI...went 1-1 in a 7-6 win over Mt. Ida on April 5th...tallied a hit and a run in a conference win over Rivier on April 16th...garnered GNAC All-Academic in 2016 for her work in the classroom as well.
2015: Played in nine games as a sophomore…started two games in left field and one at designated hitter…batted .231 (3-13) with two doubles, two runs, and six RBI…went 2-3 with two doubles and four RBI in a game versus Mount Mary on March 9…recorded one hit, one RBI, and one walk in a game against Rockford University on March 12.
High School: Played four years of varsity softball at Jay High School/Spruce Mountain High School…earned Academic All-Star her freshman, junior, and senior years…was a captain for softball, skiing, and soccer senior year…earned Mountain Valley Conference First Team All-Star her senior year for softball, was an honorable mention her junior year…was recognized as the Spruce Mountain High School Outstanding Female Athlete award as a senior…also participated in four years of soccer and three years of skiing…earned several awards in those sports as well.
Personal: Casidee PatriciAnita Couture, born in Farmington, Maine but has lived in Jay, Maine her entire life…daughter of Sherri and Rick Couture…majoring in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration.
