2022: The senior played in nine games, batting .176 on the season with one RBI. Her on base percentage was .263 with her two walks on the season. In the March 8th loss to Emerson, she went 1-3 with an RBI.
2021: Junior played seven games at second base…batted .357(.600 in conference play) with three RBIs and scored four runs herself…had a .917 fielding percentage from the infield, with 16 put outs and six assists…finished her 2021 season on April 18th, going 3-3 with 3 RBIs, and scored twice herself to help the Monks in an 11-3 win over the Norwich Cadets.
2019: Played in 14 games as a freshman second baseman... during her 14 appearances she handled a 1.000 fielding percentage… on March 6th against Bluffton she scored a key run in a 7-6 victory… on March 8th against Penn St. she added on her second run scored… in her appearance against Norwich on April 7th she scored again for a total of three runs on the 2019 season…
Why Saint Joseph's College? The campus is beautiful, on top of that I really enjoyed every one there and how welcomed they make you feel. I love that I feel I will really be a part of the community and be able to find myself there.
High School: Played softball, volleyball, basketball, and field hockey at Holy Name Central Catholic High School…was on honor roll and in the National Honor Society.
Community Service: Volunteered at Camp Sunshine, worked at homeless shelters and provided sports equipment for little children who couldn't afford it.
Personal: Hayley Lynn Tighe, daughter of Lynn and Michael Tighe…sister to Alexa Tighe.
