Biography

2014: Made two starts in left field and appeared in 15 games as a sophomore outfielder...hit .286 with no errors in the outfield...had three hits including a double as well as two runs scored and two RBIs in a 14-0 win over Anna Maria on April 18th. 

2013: Played in 17 games with eight starting nods as a freshman…hit .161 (5-31) with two runs, a double and an RBI…posted her first NCAA hit – a double – in a win over Elms College on March 12th.

High School: Played four years of varsity softball at John S. Burke Catholic High School…earned the team’s Coaches’ Award…played in the summer for Rapid Fire.

Personal: Marissa Hernandez, born on January 18, 1995 in Nyack, New York…daughter of Ralph and Gigi Hernandez…majoring in Business & Sports Management.
