Saint Joseph's College of Maine

Why Saint Joseph’s? I chose Saint Joseph’s College because I loved the campus layout and location. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, and I was excited about the strong academic programs related to my intended career and the opportunity to continue competing in athletics.

High School: Played four years of soccer and competed in outdoor track and field for four years and basketball for two years at Sanford High School…played midfield in soccer and competed in middle-distance events and relays in track…earned All-Conference Honorable Mention soccer honors in 2025…selected for the 2026 SMAA vs. WMC All-Star Soccer Game…received the Spartan Teammate Award in 2025 and SMAA Citizenship Award in 2026…named Maine Scholar-Athlete of the Week in 2026…received a soccer Coaches’ Award in 2024, an outdoor track Coaches’ Award in 2024, and indoor track Coaches’ Awards in 2025 and 2026…qualified for regional and state track competition in the 100 and 800 meters, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800, and sprint medley relay…recorded multiple top-eight regional and state finishes, highlighted by fourth place in the 4x800 at the 2025 outdoor regional meet and fifth place at the state meet…member of the National Honor Society and SMAA All-Academic Team…earned Honor Roll recognition, completed the AP Capstone program, received the 2026 Sanford Elks Student of the Year Award, and graduated as valedictorian…played with Maximum Velocity Football Club and Maine Lightning Soccer…completed 108 hours of community service through youth sports camps, elementary school events, National Honor Society activities, and Red Cross blood drives.
