2014: Played in 19 games making 19 starts as a senior while splitting time between defender and midfielder…Scored four goals and had two assists for ten points…out of 28 shots taken, 19 were on goal…netted the game winner in a 5-1 win over Mt. Ida on September 13th…scored and provided an assist in a 2-0 win over Husson on September 14th…scored and had an assist in a 3-0 win over Norwich on October 10th…finishes her career having played in 72 games, scoring nine goals with five assists, for a total of 23 points…All-GNAC third team 2014…GNAC All-Academic in 2014 for the second consecutive year…GNAC Honor Roll 9/15/14.
2013: Played in all 19 matches with 18 starts as a junior…scored a career-high three goals, including a pair of game-winners…her first marker of the season wound up as the game-clincher in a 6-0 victory over Maine-Presque Isle on September 29th…added an unassisted tally to help the Monks tip Mount Ida, 3-1, on October 9th…netted the winner in a one-sided triumph over Rivier five days later…earned GNAC All-Academic honors for second-consecutive year.
2012: Appeared in all 17 games with 11 starts as a sophomore…recorded two goals with two assists for six total points…posted 13 shots with eight on target…scored goals in each of the Monks’ first two contests of the season: a 6-0 victory over Thomas College on September 6th and against Green Mountain College three days later…added two helpers in an 11-0 triumph over Anna Maria College on September 25th.
2011: Appeared in all 17 games as a freshman midfielder…recorded her first NCAA point with an assist in a 9-0 win over Pine Manor College on September 25th.
High School: Played four years of varsity soccer for Jeanne Zarrilli at Gorham High School...earned All-Conference honors and played in the All-Star game her senior year...averaged two goals per season...scored the winning goals in two overtime playoff games in back to back years...collected “Most Versatile Player” honors...also played basketball.
Personal: Samantha Rae Peters, born in Portland Maine...daughter of Dana and Tracy Peters...majoring in Nursing.
