KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saint Joseph's College first-year pitcher/second baseman Gabrielle Burrola (Gallup, N.M.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents softball Player of the Week for the second straight week.

Burrola went 3-0 on the mound on her way to a 1.84 ERA for the week. She also recorded 10 strikeouts and gave up just five earned runs. She contributed from the plate as well as batting .526 (10-for-19), including six RBI and five runs scored.

Burrola, who is coached by Jamie Smyth, helped Saint Joseph's to a 6-0 mark on the week.
