STANDISH, Maine-Saint Joseph's College Monks took on the Johnson and Wales Wildcats on Saturday afternoon in Standish, ME. Kickoff began at 3 p.m.
Just 2:10 into the first half, JWU Sophomore Midfielder, Grace Sheehan, gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead. Jamie Davies scored with 19:38 remaining in the first half extending the lead to 2-0. The assist went to Sophia Warburton. With 11:34 left in the game, Katherine Dufour scored to give the Wildcats their third and final goal of the match.
Freshman Goalkeeper Ashlyn Guerette (Merrimack, N.H.) recorded 10 saves for the Monks.
The Monks will travel to Paxton, MA to face Anna Maria College on Monday, October 28th. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
