HOPKINTON FAIRGROUNDS, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College of Maine women's cross country team competed at the 2025 Hopkinton XC Festival on Friday evening at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds, N.H.. The Monks placed 5th overall with 143 points in the 5K race.
"Our women had a real sense of focus and confidence in everything they did today" Associate Head Coach Troy Hendricks adds, "We had a plan for each of them, and they followed it perfectly, resulting in a well-executed race that continues to build excitement for this squad. Each meet, they're improving in the areas we've been targeting, and I have no doubt this group will be ready to rise to the occasion when championship season arrives."
THE RUNDOWN:
Adelphi University claimed the team title with 42 points, placing its top five runners inside the top 26. UAlbany finished second with 47 points, followed by Babson College (68), Saint Anselm College (107), and Saint Joseph's College of Maine (143) rounding out the top five.
