KEENE, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College of Maine women's cross country team competed at the Keene State College Invitational on Saturday morning at Keene State College. The Monks placed 21st overall with 547 points in the 6K race, which featured a competitive field of 30 teams.
"Our women came out strong today, battling the heat and a field of 30 teams," said Head Coach Mike Burleson. "Every member worked together, with the top three—Williams, Pendleton, and Cyr—leading the way and staying tightly connected throughout the race, producing some standout performances. The effort from the whole team, both in practice and on the course, is paying off."
THE RUNDOWN:
Williams College claimed the team title with 18 points, placing its top five runners inside the top ten. Tufts University finished second with 60 points, followed by Colby College (122), Wellesley College (133), and Westfield State University (207) rounding out the top five.
