WESTON, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College (8-7-1, 7-5-1 GNAC) surrendered four second-half goals in a 4–0 setback to Regis College (10-7-2, 8-4-1 GNAC) in conference play on Tuesday afternoon at Regis Stadium.
PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS:
The outcome shook up the GNAC standings a bit, as Regis vaulted past Saint Joseph's to secure the No. 5 seed, while the Monks slipped to No. 6. The GNAC Tournament quarterfinals are set for Saturday, with Saint Joseph's traveling to face third-seeded Lasell University and Regis heading to No. 4 Albertus Magnus College. Both contests are slated for a 1:00 PM kickoff.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
After a scoreless first half, the Pride broke through in the 47th minute on a penalty kick goal by Maeve Glavin. Regis doubled the lead less than three minutes later when Mia Carll finished inside the box. The hosts added insurance in the 75th minute on a tally from Sienna Santiago and sealed the win with an own goal in the 88th minute.

Regis held sizeable advantages in shots (21-3), shots on goal (10-3), and corner kicks (10-2) in the victory.
THE KEEPERS:
SJC sophomore goalkeeper Ashlyn Guerette (Merrimack, N.H.) posted six saves in 90 minutes of action for the Monks while Regis split time between Daniela Mazo and Cassidy Van Cott, who combined for three stops in the shared shutout.
