Monks Sweep Saint Joseph (CT), Fall to Framingham State in West Hartford Tri-Match

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Saint Joseph's College of Maine women's volleyball team (8-8, 4-0 GNAC) split a tri-match hosted by the University of Saint Joseph (CT) on Saturday, defeating the Blue Jays, 3–0 (25–15, 25–18, 25–16), before falling to Framingham State, 3–1 (27–25, 25–27, 25–14, 25–18), inside the James A. Calhoun Gymnasium.

The Monks controlled play from start to finish, hitting an impressive .313 as a team while holding the Blue Jays to a .137 mark. Saint Joseph's used strong sideout execution and balance at the net, taking the first two sets 25–15 and 25–18 before closing out the sweep 25–16.
